One of the great soccer players of our generation is hanging up his boots. Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, or simply Ronaldo, retired from the game on February 14, 2011 after an illustrious career. Some of his many accomplishments include being only one of two players to win FIFA's player of the year award three times and being the highest goal scorer in the World Cup with fifteen.
